Rope grabs move easily up and down vertical lifelines to provide continuous fall protection, and lock quickly in the event of a fall. Trailing models offer complete hands-free operation for increased productivity. Compact design with corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction. Lightweight and easy to use. Locking snap hook has 3/4" gate opening. Designed for use with 5/8” synthetic rope lifeline with a minimum tensile strength of 5,000 lbs., secured to an anchorage independent of the worker’s platform. Wire rope grabs are designed for use with 5/16” galvanized or stainless steel wire rope lifelines. Standard lifeline lengths are 25’, 50’, 75’ and 100’; additional lengths are available. Polyester rope has greater chemical resistance. Polypropylene rope lifelines are specialized blend of polypropylene and high modulus polyethylene resins to produce a co-polymer fiber rope. Has many times the abrasion resistance of conventional polypropylene products, with low-elongation characteristics equivalent to pure polyester. Includes locking snap hook on one end and loop on the other. Meets all applicable OSHA, ANSI and CSA standards and requirements.
Note: For part numbers with *, lifeline length must be specified when ordering.
